As an intro to my thesis on the affects of advertising in the feminine hygiene product industry, I took a closer look at how messaging was affecting adolescent girls. This preliminary research project titled DOT is a reflection of the data collected showing that more than 70% of word choice associated with period product advertising is negative.
DOT is an educational tool, an entertaining read, and a push to inject positivity into the conversation of menstruation.
Part two of my thesis is cumulated in the form of a fictitious feminine hygiene brand. Nova is a direct reflection of my research and aims to insight positivity while being approachable. All creative was produced by me.
